2. LOOKING AHEAD TO APRIL 2005, WE EXPECT MSST 91106 (NEW YORK) TO
HAVE SOME BRIEF AIRTIME IN UNIVERSAL STUDIOS SCHEDULED RELEASE OF
THE FEATURE FILM, "THE INTERPRETER."  THIS DRAMATIC THRILLER,
STARRING NICOLE KIDMAN AND SEAN PENN, DELVES INTO THE POLITICAL
INTRIGUE AND DECEPTION SURROUNDING AN ASSASSINATION PLOT ON A HIGH-
RANKING UNITED NATIONS OFFICIAL AT UN HEADQUARTERS.  MSST 91106
PROVIDED OUTSTANDING FILM SUPPORT BY PORTRAYING THEIR WATERSIDE
SECURITY FORCE RESPONSIBILITIES.  THE DIRECTOR, SYDNEY POLLACK, WAS
"FIRED UP" BY WHAT LCDR DELGADO AND HIS CREW BROUGHT TO THE SCENE.
WELL KEEP YOU POSTED WHEN WE DETERMINE WHAT ACTUALLY MAKES IT
THROUGH POST-PRODUCTION EDITING.
3. THE GROWING FOCUS AND PUBLIC INTEREST ON MARITIME SECURITY
CONTINUES TO PROVIDE UNPRECEDENTED OPPORTUNITIES TO SHOWCASE OUR
SERVICE IN NEWS, ENTERTAINMENT AND DOCUMENTARY PROGRAMS.  A FEW
MINUTES OF DRAMATIC, ON-SCENE VIDEO FOOTAGE CAPTURED BY A CG UNIT
CAN PROVIDE THE IMPETUS FOR A PRODUCTION COMPANY TO INCORPORATE A
COAST GUARD STORYLINE AND/OR CHARACTER IN THEIR PROGRAM OR FILM.
ENSURE COPIES OF RELEASABLE VIDEO AND ASSOCIATED CASE FILES ARE
FORWARDED TO MOPIC FOR OUTREACH EFFORTS.
4. PER REF A, UNITS ARE REMINDED TO OBTAIN CONCURRENCE FROM MOPIC
BEFORE AGREEING TO COOPERATE WITH ANY ENTERTAINMENT-RELATED FILM,
MUSIC OR DOCUMENTARY PRODUCTION.
