This isn’t SAVE OUR SHIP …---…  It is something just as near and dear…..






Close your eyes and go back a few years when you looked forward to that hearty, stick to your ribs breakfast.




2 lb Ground Beef

¼ lb Butter

½ cup of Flour

5 cups of Milk

3 tsp beef bouillon

1½ tbsp Instant Minced Onion

Several loaves of Day Old Bread


Make Sauce


        Melt butter in a 2½ quart saucepan. Add flour and stir until smooth. Add milk and stir until thickened and smooth. Add bouillon and onion. Simmer over low heat.


Prepare Meat

        Brown meat and drain juice.


Add Meat to Sauce


        Add meat to sauce and continue to simmer for 1 hour, stirring as needed.

Prepare Toast


Toast plenty of day old bread or biscuits.


This should feed at least a 100 hungry people. Just ladle on as much as they want.
